Year 1 2019 - 2020

Miss Dockerty

Mrs Holland

Mrs Henderson

This half term we are taking a look at the wonderful place we live.  .

Our topic starts with a look at the features around school and then we venture out into the streets and parks of Wilmslow to see what comparisons we can make.  We use our Geography skills to create maps to represent areas, discuss the feature we like or dislike in an area and start to learn about how the county is broken up into a variety of areas and how these can be described.

Have a look at our Curriculum map to find out more about this exciting topic.
