Information Zone
There is also "Formula E Club" with available slots, so feel welcome to join in the action.
The Season Series for F1 Club (Winter Season) qualifying is every Monday at 10:45 and the race at 13:15.
Winter Series ends on 21st March.
Watching races are absolutely free! As long as you're not on the track, you are fine. Also, you can't touch drivers whilst they're racing, it will let them lose control of their body and might even fall over.
Formula E
The first ten minutes of it is regular qualifying. Then, for the last 5 minutes, it's Super Pole. In Super Pole, you can only have 1 lap. You have to fast walk, though.
The Formula E race is 75% of what F1 racers have to complete. In the pits, you have to stay in there for at least 15 seconds, or you will get a severe penalty.
The laps calculation is 225 secs divided by (average lap time) = laps For the Race
Formula 1
So in Formula One, you have 3 practicing sessions. These are to help your skill at the track increase. These practice sessions will help you in the race, as you are able to basically practice the race in practice sessions. These sessions will also help you in qualifying as you are able to practice your hot laps.
Qualifying determines where you will start for the race. This is done by setting a hot lap. The quickest will have the least amount of distance to complete in the race than others. If you get the quickest lap in qualifying, you get 3 extra points.
At the start of a race, you will be told where to stand. Then, you will walk a lap around the track. This is also known as the Formation Lap. When you complete the Formation Lap, you will sand at your grid spot, waiting for the lights person to indicate the start. In the race, you have to pit by the tire life. No jumper or coat is also known as softs, only jumper is mediums and everything is hard. Hard tires last the longest whereas the soft tire lasts the shortest. At the finish line, the position you finish in will determine the number of points you get. The first person to cross the line gets the most points, whereas if you are tenth you get the least amount of points. If you are eleventh or under, you get no points. Also, an F1 race can be up to 1km, which is nearly five laps of the running track.
The laps calculation is 300 secs divided by average lap time = Laps for the race.
Season Series
The Season Series is basically F1, but there are no practice sessions and qualifying is 15 minutes, not 45 minutes. The same rules apply for the Season Series like F1 as there is no rule difference.
There are no teams. Also, there is no "Spring Season". This is the only Season Series.
F2
Basically F1 but other people and races are split into 2. The Sprint Race and the Feature Race.
F1 eSports
So while we don't have school, we will use online for the championships.
