Guided Reading

Maths
In maths today we will continue to look at the symmetry of shapes. Instead of finding lines of symmetry you will need to think about whether the shapes are symmetrical and, if not, how they can be made symmetrical. You'll be challenged to explain why shapes might be the odd ones out in relation to their lines of symmetry, so you may find some of the following mathematical vocabulary useful: symmetry, vertical, horizontal and diagonal. To help your understanding of horizontal and vertical lines of symmetry have a look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4oPWaNxp14
