Welcome back!

We hope you've enjoyed your half term and the beautiful weather - weren't we lucky! 

All the year 5 teachers have really enjoyed looking at your Science and History projects so a big well done to you. 

Before you start your work for this week, I just wanted to mention that you're all doing SO well with this work on the wesbite. You haven't been in school for a long time now, so everything you're doing is from memory which means sometimes you might find a piece of work a little bit tricky. Just try your best, that's all you can do and remember - Growth Mindset! It's good to struggle with something as it helps to keep your brain nice and strong. Maths

Today you will be working on angles. There's an introduction for you to refer to if you need it - you might have seen it before! 

English 

The English work this week is all based on Shadow Jumper which was covered in Guided Reading previously. 

Grammar 

You'll be looking at pronouns to avoid repetition. 

Guided Reading

You'll be reading an extract from a book about the Titanic.
