Spellings
Common Exception Words:
The spellings this week are common exception words. Each session will have two activities to complete. Each session will have an explanation of each activity and the answers will be provided at the end of the document.
Session 1 activities: Pyramid Writing and Missing Vowels

Today the children will be looking at the features of a letter. Using the example, they are going to write a letter to Mum and Dad as Syd explaining where he is. They will also be including because in their letter which is explained in the attachment. 

Guided reading 

In today's session, the children will read an extract from Horrid Henry and use it to describe the characters. 

Maths
Fact Families:
Look at the learning video clips for support and guidance.
Choose a colour to complete: Green, Yellow or Red and complete the questions on fact families. Each colour will offer fluency, reasoning and problem-solving.
