Session one: In session one the children will have two activities to complete. The first one is to become familiar with the spelling words by doing matching pairs with each word. With each picture the children must decide what that picture is and find the opposite homophone. The second activity is homophone sentences. The children must decide which word fits correctly to the sentences.

English

In today's session, the children will be writing the next part of the story and describing what trouble the monkeys get up to in the bathroom. 

Maths 
Number and Place Value: Look at the Learning video clips for this session to support learning. 

Choose a colour to complete: Green, Yellow or Red and complete the questions on number and place value. Each colour will offer fluency, reasoning and problem solving questions.

Nouns and Verbs: Look at the Learning clips to support this session. This should help sustain prior knowledge of verbs and nouns:

Children can answer questions to support the identification of nouns and verbs in sentences containing only nouns, verbs and articles..
They can also, use the word bank to create a sentence containing nouns, verbs and articles
To build on knowledge and understanding they may then, use given words, write a sentence containing nouns, verbs and articles.
To follow further application the children can identify errors in sentences containing nouns, verbs and articles.
