Spellings
ly words:
The spellings this week are ly words. Each session will have two activities to complete. Each session will have an explanation of each activity and the answers will be provided at the end of the document.
Session 1 activities: Right from Wrong and BOGGLE
English
Today the children will look back at the image of Grandad and the animals around the house. Using the features of a non-fiction text they will research one of the animals.
Guided reading
The children will read a poem describing a dragon. They will look at the vocabulary and decide if they like the poem or not and explain why.
Maths
Fractions:
Look at the learning video clips for support and guidance.
Choose a colour to complete: Green, Yellow or Red and complete the questions on finding a half. Each colour will offer fluency, reasoning and problem-solving.
