Phonics
Revisit and review: Tricky and high frequency words (see document below)
Read all words. Hide them- how many can you remember? Write or say them aloud.
Teach: Read; what did you put in my lunchbox?
Notice the polysyllable words and practice clapping each syllable when there is a word with more than one.

Green activity picture word match- words with two syllables
Amber activity two syllable board game- roll the die and read the word you land on. Clap the syllables. If you are unable to print, write down each word you land on to keep track of where you are.
Red activity Match the syllables and then write the complete word

Complete a missing poster for the lost cow (this can be drawn into tour child’s home learning book). Draw a picture in the blank box and answer the questions.
Maths - Subtraction *All* look through the powerpoint at your own pace over the next 2 days – talk with your child about what is happening in each different slide.
Green – Complete page 1 of the subtraction calculations. Draw the numicon pieces into your book and write the answers.
Amber – Complete page 1 and page 2 of the subtraction calculations. Draw the numicon pieces into your book and write the answers.
Red – Complete all of the pages of the subtraction calculations. Draw the numicon pieces into your book and write the answers.
