Bonjour Year 5,

How're your history projects going? Did you know that Queen Victoria was the first monarch to ride a train? There's so many interesting facts about her!

Work for today:

Grammar : Look at the starter sheet as a quick reminder and then you are good to go complete your work.

Maths: For the next 2 days you will be looking at fractions. You’ll need you multiplying and dividing skills for this lesson so it would be a great idea to complete a TT Rockstars warm up first!

Look at these 2 links and then choose your challenge.

English You will continue writing your balanced argument. If you manage to finish it today you can complete the extension task tomorrow.

Guided Reading

You will be reading an interview with tennis star Alfie Hewett today. Again, the questions are presented in two different ways.

  1. The questions on page 2 are for if you are writing the answers straight into your books.
  2. If you would prefer to print the pages and write on the lines, then print pages 3 & 4.

The answers are after that.

Off you go!
