Phonics
Revisit and Review: Tricky and high frequency words (see document below)
Read all words. Hide them- how many can you remember? Write or say them aloud.
Teach: Fill in the phoneme frames- Are the consonant clusters at the beginning, in the middle, or at the end of the word? Can you add sound buttons?
Practise: Please access Thursday. Practise Activities for all the below activities
Green activity roll and read- roll the die to show which line of words you need to choose a word from. Segment the sounds and blend to read. Can you say a sentence that includes the word you have read? Can you read 10 words?
Amber activity I spy- write down what you can see that begins with the sounds provided
Red activity Match the sentences to the correct animal.
Literacy - Being cared for

Green: Write 2/3 sentences about how you know you are cared for
Amber: Write 3/4 sentences about how you know you are cared for
Red: Write 5 or more sentences about how you know you are cared for
Maths
Draw a picture of a clock you have at home. OR you could make your own DIY clock. There is lots of DIY videos on you tube or you could use this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lpmKJ2p4jc (with an adult)
Green – Look carefully at the clock. What numbers can you see? Write the numbers onto your clock picture. Can you draw the hands of the clock?
Amber – Can you draw the hands of the clock? Which numbers are they pointing to? Do you know what time it is?
Red – Can you draw the hands of the clock? Which numbers are they pointing to? Do you know what time it is? How many hours is it until your tea/dinner time? Until bedtime? Until morning time?
Reading
Read the book; don’t forget to try and use different voices for the speech bubbles.
