Hi everyone. 

We are sad not to be ale to see you all today but it is comforting to know that you are all home and safe. 

Writing:

Writing this week is using a video as inspiration. Follow the instructions on the documents carefully, we would like you to go through the same processes as we would in class, including analysing model texts, brainstorming/collecting ideas and focusing on the purpose of our writing.

Reading:

We understand that comprehensions get boring when you've been doing them all year. So instead please use your 30 minutes to enjoy reading and complete some of the activities suggested on the Reading Tasks document. Take your time over them, each one could take a few days. You dont have to do them all - pick and choose what you fancy. 

Maths:

I have included a mental maths strategy for you to be practicing each day.  This is on the start of the Powerpoint so please try to do these. This will lead up to a short mental maths quiz I have included as part of Friday's work.

Our main focus this week is shape.  Today you'll be re-capping some of the properties of 2D shapes. Again, please look at the Powerpoint before attempting the work.  The Powerpoint also includes some tasks for you to either be thinking about or completing.

SPaG:

You've done so much SPaG now; we know you've got it! So over the next few weeks we would like you to create a revision document/presentation/book(or whatever you fancy) to collate everything you've learnt. Read the SPaG document for more information. All of the other resources provided are there to support you if you need them.
