Maths
In maths today we will be looking at the area of shapes. You will often be asked to estimate area so this means make a sensible guess. You do not need to print all of the questions out and measure them because they are not all to scale; instead use your eyes to estimate. Please make sure you use the powerpoint attached to help you understand exacty what is meant by area and how to work it out. You will also need to remind yourselves how to use the symbols for more than, less than and equal to ( < , >, = ). Remember area refers to the space inside of a shape. Good luck! Mrs Rowlinson
