Ashdene Primary School is proud to deliver an exceptional curriculum that is consistently and carefully implemented across the school. Our curriculum clearly sets out the knowledge and skills that pupils are expected to learn and is sequentially planned from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to Year 6.
It is designed around principles of cognitive science, ensuring that new learning builds securely on what pupils already know. Through structured opportunities for short- and long-term retrieval, we help children to know more, remember more, and do more over time.
